Last Enduro of the Season

This Tuesday November 29th looks to be a great evening and it just happens that it is going to be the last enduro of the season. This enduro will be special, as it will be held at our new venue, which has been labeled the Pugsley Pit, by Spinner.

The new venue is located near the bottom of Public Television as you work your way up the first climb, on the plateau to your left, only a few hundred yards from the beginning of the trail.

It will be a cool evening, but it is the end of November and there is no snow, so lets celebrate.

Bring Light and Beer
I will have the usual Brats and such.

The Empire Strikes Back

There is a new website dedicated to fat-bikes that you should check out.
I have no idea how the heck they came up with a name for it, but it's called

I wrote a little diddy about my new ride.

And check this out, it's a cell phone video of why I needed a new ride.

Last Time Trial of the Year

It is getting to that point of the year where soon our attention will be turned to things other than riding the trails.

So lets get together one last time, for the last time trial of the season. The weather looks to be pretty nice.

Glory Hole Tuesday the 15th 6:30 p.m.

I will have the fire blazing and the brats cooking. Bring some warm clothes, a light and some frosty beverage.

The Homie

I'm not sure exactly what it is called anymore, but once a year a bunch a drinkers with a bicycle problem ride around in a dog park in the Minneapolis area.  Someone tried explaining to me all the different little names and cities and towns, but I didn't really get it.  I just said "I'm from Iowa" even though I'm kind of not anymore.  I've had a history of breaking bikes at bike events lately, and this was no exception.  Big Dummy repairs are in progress.  A video of the crowd reaction to said bike busting (and the Surly warranty/replacement program) will be posted as soon as I figure out how to do so.  In the mean time, here are some pics.
